Preethi Kitchen Appliances is a renowned brand in South India. To address their Corporate Social Responsibility, they approached us to create a short film.
The film is about the struggles of school going children in that locale due to which many of them don't attend school.
The film was shot in one of the villages in Sathyamangalam forest area. The challenges we faced were to seek permissions in secured and wild animals infested areas. The terrain and the scorching heat was no cake walk. As well as coordinating with the locals and children there was learning in itself. Ultimately, the film was shot in three days and was dubbed in six different regional languages.
Preethi Pragya - an initiative by Preethi in association with Read Foundation to provide support to these children, ensuring they stay in school and paving the way to alleviate poverty in their lives.
